Thanks for the information, Mike. I was talking to a friend who is fairly knowledgeable in the auto parts field and he said the 3.50:1 ratios are the ones they are looking for. Of course mine is a 2.75:1 which I guess is not much in demand. It is the free floating carrier though. So you're saying just the axle itself (without the carrier)has some "value", correct?
