We worked and worried several days and finally took it back down and knocked a piston out. I took the new piston and CPL# and went to Cummins to see what gives because all cylinders were barely hitting. When we finally found the problem he had replaced the timing cover because of bushing being wallowed out years ago and had left the new tag on the new cover. The pistons were just a fraction too short. I put the right pistons in it and it's still hauling grain. I get terrible nervous unless I match the numbers on the kit unless I know the engine has'nt been rebuilt before or had the timing cover replaced.
