1949 Ford 1/2 ton bumper question...

Did these trucks come with a factory rear bumper and if they did, was it a curved one like the front one is or was it similar to a 4-5" C-channel iron and straight. I don't think I ever seen one and my '49 project never had a bumper nor did the donor truck. Any opinions? Thanks
