i have a 49' chevy truck. it is a 3/4 ton and it currently has a 235 motor(not original). it had a 216 but i want to put a 250 engine in it. my question is will this engine fit without me having to change the steering column, cut into the fire wall, and change the front end. another question is i want to change the front end from a 3/4 ton to a 1/2 ton. will this bolt in easy? will it interfear with the motor? What kind of motor mounts to i need? thx
