They are stil used and still in demand, but they are certainly not rare or hard to come by. Ford made millions of them and used them in numerous cars and truck from 1958 through the early to mid 80's. Unless its something special, say with a nodular carrier, 31 spline axles, a four pinion or Detroit locker, or a desireble, hard to find gear ratio, it's not worth a lot. Probably 50 to 75 dollars as a core to a race car shop or slightly more to an individual.
