I don't understand why such numbers needed? I realize many variations on these engines, but wouldn't think rebuild price would change much?? Anyway, can't find yours on block? Know where to look? Sometimes requires you to clean the spot with brakleen or scraping and a good light to read. Not stamped very deep. Series of letters and numbers involved. Most Detroit books have this info in front pages. You have one?
