Find a suitable 40s cab, and adapt it to a motorhome or school bus chassis. Both of which can be had reasonable with some body damage, you've got your late model chassis brakes differential and good parts availability. Biggest thing would be adapting the cab, pedals, steering column, which would still be easier in the long run than fitting new components to a 60 year old chassis. John in Ne.
