If the fuel pressure is up, the pump won't run. Put a guage on the rail and crank the engine. It should hold at around 40-60 lbs, (these run high pressure). If it drops off, or is not there the problem is pump or filter. Another thought, The computer could have it's brain addled. Unhook the battery for 10 minutes, and reconnect. It's a wildcard but things like that can happen.
