I think we found the problem. The two wires inside the dist cap, at the magnetic pickup (or stator?), were both broken! I will try to get the part this evening and try to get it running. The distributor does have a clamp and can be turned, which makes it adjustable, I believe. Anything else I need to know? Thanks again.
