Ignition won't stop crankingPosted by Steve on April 27, 2002 at 19:22:44 from (65.64.152.227):
I have a 56 International grain truck. When I turn the key the engine will crank, but I can't get it to stop. I turn it off and even take the key out but the starter keeps going. I have to disconnect the battery to get it to stop. When I reconnect the battery it doesn't fire back up, but when I turn the key it does it again.I have no idea what is causing this. Obviously I am not much of a mechanic. Any help would be appreciated.
