Starting in 1952 some Ford trucks used a Lincoln based "Y" block . These resembeled a ford "Y" block of the time . The Lincolns cu. in. were 317,341 and 368. Ford trucks with the Lincloln based engine may have been 279 or 317 cu. in. Also the oil filter canister was mounted to a 90 degree angle adaper so to remove the filter you took out the center bolt and the moved canister towards the front of the engine also I don't remember Ford 302 or 390's having a rear mount dist. either.
