4 way flashers from medium duty GM to light duty GPosted by db on October 27, 2004 at 19:24:28 from (64.12.116.199):
I've been having trouble with the GP Sorenson turnsignal switches sold by Advance Autoparts. The 4 way flashers won't stay engaged, and I'm getting tired of taking them off and returning them for another new switch. Does anyone know if the turn signal switch on a C60 is a heavier duty switch, and will fit on the light duty trucks? I need to use the 4 way flashers a lot for stop and go driving and loading along city streets. My truck is a 1975 GMC C3500 that I use to gather scrap metal from curbside recycling, and I need to be seen. I can't exactly jump out of the way because I'm walking with crutches while loading the junk.
