Don't know about the Blazer but I had a '78 C20 window van with the 350, factory stock. Somehow I remember it as being the last year of the non cat vehicle. It had no cat and the emissions sticker said something to the effect of "truck engine, no cat, etc." It did run good so my guess is it did not have a very detuned engine. Don't remember what the CR was.
