1958 C60 transmission question

[ Expand ] [ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ]

Posted by brian on November 23, 2004 at 08:13:58 from (12.219.146.227):

Is the bolt pattern of the transmission in a 1958 C60 Viking the same as a newer transmission? I want to put a Chevy small or big block in this truck. I learned from an earlier post that I have to find a different bellhousing and flywheel. But can any bellhousing that fits my small or big block engine work with the transmission that is now in the truck. Thanks for all the help.
