why waste time with a low torque v8 you can lose the straight 6 but maybe you could replace it with a v6 its not much different then putting in a v8 but with tons more torque plus the v8s don't get a whole lot bigger than say a 478 v6 gas or diesel it will still bolt up to the tranny plus ther alot more fun
