GMC cab lights

Has anyone ever added the cab lights to a GMC truck. I own a 98 GMC, which I would to put some on it. Is it hard placing them on there? Are there places under the headliner, so you will know where to place them at? Can you get some sort of template, so you will know where tro place them? Thanks
