Yeap, I had the same problem with my 99 SD. You can test the glow plugs. I tested them and found two were bad on the left bank, three on the right bank. I replaced all of them. (I didn't want to go back in, its an all day job). I would test them and replace if necessary. Also test your glow plug relay. Winters coming. Here is a site I think will help you with this and other questions on your 7.3
