Schramm made a lot of those compressors. I don't remember specifically the Ford V8, but I do remember a Model A Ford with two cylinders engine and two compressor. I also remember a Chrysler flathead inline 6. Try http://www.junkyarddog.com one of the recyclers there might come up with something. Valve jobs and gaskets might be a problem to the compressor valves, but you might be able to lap the valves and get them to seal. The way to test the seal of the compressor valves is to reassemble the valves and fill them with paint thinner and if they seal the paint thinner won't bleed through. With a V8 you will need a different intake manifold, too. It seams like I remember some other engines that were half compressor, I have a vague recollection of an engine with the head arrangement of a Minneappolis Moline with a compressor, but I'm not sure.
