Having been on a volunteer fire dept for many years I can tell you that mileage on a fire truck means nothing. 3000 miles may equate to 100,000 hours on the engine pumping water. The big thing concerning value is the type of truck Pumper, ladder, tanker, rescues, etc. And it also depends on collectors in your area who may be interested. Most of those old truck don't bring much maybe a couple of thousand tops but it all depends on who wants it baddest.
