My thanx as well. Just got off the phone with a great guy named Kevin at CVO. $25 for a conversion ujoint x 2 = $50 versus $400+ for a new driveline. Wow!!! What a great christmas present.
He did caution me to inspect the trunion to yoke wear before ordering. If the yoke is worn to the point where a new ujoint cap wont fit properly you have to replace the driveshaft assembly. Also be careful when you torch out the old ujoint. You dont want to distort the yolk.
I am going to try this out and will be posting the results when I have completed the project.
Thanx again for a great tip Ed. Merry christmas to all.
