4 cyl. amc jeep engine

i had a jeep cherokee and had the amc 4cyl. engine rebuilt then the tranny went bad. i junked the body because i couldn't find a tranny but i kept the new engine,wireing harness,computer,new radiator and so on - i just need to know what jeep trannies would bolt up so i don't have to limit my possibilities on the same setup, would 4cyl. and 6cyl. trannies bolt up (again it's not the gm 2.5L it's the amc 2.47 or 2.5L , Thanks
