need help restoring 84 pickupPosted by nc jd guy on December 18, 2004 at 06:40:31 from (24.225.90.40): Hi guys, I am in the middle of restoring an 84 Chevy Stepside. Doing pretty good on most of it, Skyjacker 6" lift, M/T rims, 35" Super Swampers, BBC 454 +.040 (500HP, 600ft-lbs of torque), Rust free body from a place called "Crazy Eddie" in Cedar Rapids, IA (Great prices, easy to deal with). We painted the frame with this stuff called Rust Shield. Makes it look great for less than $200. Now the problem. I am not much of an interior guy, but my dash is shot, most trim panels are too. As you can see from the list above, my budget is getting pretty sparse. Does anyone know anything about those "dash covers" out there? How about a good used dash (preferably tan or black) Thanks
