the 292 has the same bellhousing and the 230 and 250 I6 and allthe V8. on the flywheel if its the 13 inch clutch you need the industrial harmonic balancer but on the 11 and 12 inch you dont. the flywheel will work with all the I6 motors and all the V8 motor but the 400 smallblock and the 454 bigblock. as long as the motor has the 2 part rearmain seal the 1 part seal has a new bolt pattern.
