Had a 1974 that had an annoying noise in the front axle, going down the road.........turned out to be the pinion bearing. Look for a MOPAR shop manual for those (the red ones) and spend some time reading, lots of detailed info in there. Try to find others locally that are knowledgeable, like mechanics and those that like that old military stuff. If you have a local Chrysler dealer they are sometimes very helpful and are not just there to get all your money. I live in the big city and they have been extremely accomodating when I get stuck. Have fun with your Power Wagon, sorry I sold mine. Also do a Power Wagon web search as there are many boards devoted to just that........and full of info.
