1987 Chevy Silverado 10 w/ plowPosted by Frankie on January 11, 2005 at 17:09:53 from (209.210.34.29):
There is a story to this truck. So my dad comes to my house to plow the driveway because my tractor wasn't working right and the snow was too heavy. So he plows it, no sweat. Later on at night, he calls me. He says his truck caught fire... I of course asked if he was ok and then asked how. He said his starter wire overheated and caught fire. The only thing that was effected was the spark plug wires were gone because of the fire but thats it. I don't think he is going to get another Starter from AutoZone... he only bought it in about Oct. or Nov. So I tell my mom about it and shes laughing her butt off only because my dad has had some bad luck with trying to fix cars and trucks. The good thing is that my dads truck is only a plow truck... rot everywhere. That truck ran/runs better then his car (1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme). Well hopefully all will turn good with that truck until then, I'll keep you updated. Lata!
