Just wondering if anybody had any idea's on how to put brakes on a cut off one ton truck trailer. I have a 79 GMC one ton grain truck with a 12 ft. box and hoist on it. The cab is about all rotted off but the box is in good repair with a strong twin cylinder hoist under it. I would like to turn it into a trailer and would like to put a gooseneck hitch to pull it on the road with my F250 super duty Ford with a V10 in it. I would like to use it to move grain and firewood but wonder about the safety side when it is loaded on the road with no brakes. Any suggestion.
