I assume that's an 8.2L engine in that Chevy. I've never driven one but from what I've been told by guys that did drive em was that they were pretty disapointing. I think they were nick named 'Pi$$ing pigs'. However, most of those little V8 diesels of the 70s and early 80s, 3208 Cat, Cummins 555 and IH's DV 550 were under achievers. Don't let the motor discourage you, if you get a good enough deal on the truck it might be worth dropping a rebuilt 427 or 366 gas engine in it.
