I think ALL K2500's use the 4L80E from '93 to about '98 or '99 the switched to the 4L85E. Now, the '92's and older had the 4L80, not E. I think. So you need to find a '93 or newer, and again I am almost sure all K2500's use that tranny, of course unless it was a manual.
