Assuming the spark plug is firing still:

When you reversed the filter, there may have been some little piece of whatever that came loose, and now is likely jammed into the jet orrifice.

Replace the filter with a new one, and try to clean the orifice with compressed air, or if in the extreme event you have to poke something through to get it out of the orifice, make sure that whatever you use is softer than the material they made the orifice from.
