I do not know you, or how your son will drive this truck, but there is no way in h_ll I would give one of these to a normal teenager to drive. These are good trucks for a mature driver, but most teenagers will tear a truck like this up, it is not fast enough, and likes about 35 mph a lot better than 45. Keep this truck for yourself.
