Trailer hitches...

[ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ]

Posted by I C Red on May 08, 2002 at 08:57:38 from (134.129.214.119):

I have access to an '89 Ford 1/2 ton 4x4. I may need to use this truck to haul my Farmall 'C' about 200 miles using a tandem axle car trailer. The tractor (and mower) weigh about 3500 pounds.

Will the bumper hitch on this vehicle be strong enough to haul this much or should I have a frame hitch installed ?

Thanks in advance.
