A 49 Willys pickup like the guy said is mighty slow. We had one back when they were a whole bunch newer, and with general farm use had transmission and transfer case problems, with just normal use. Parts are pretty much available, but folks think they are gold plated or something. 35-40mph down the highway won't keep a teenager happy for sure. Also a sub marginal heater/defroster system. Keep the door latches well lubed if it has those push button inside door releases. And its six volt, so has to be kept in real good tune to fire up quick. john in Nebraska
