I wish I could help more. The 37 had an Oldsmobile flathead 6 cylinder. The 38 had a Pontiac flathead 6. There were two cab models in 36. Early models were "high roof". Late 36 had "low roof" like later models. Dash gauges were round like Chev and GMC intil 39. 36 was the first year for hydraulic brakes. There a couple of owners on the Old GMC truck board.
