Davis on February 25, 2005 at 15:08:33: Basicly any engine from the 220 cu in to the 301 cu in have the same basic block size and design. You might have to swap; accessories, motor mounts, etc but any of these should fit 220, 221 240, 241, 263, 282, and 301 and may be another inch or two I have forgotten, but all are same basic six cylinder ohv. They were used from the 40's into the 70's. Were used in trucks, tractors, combines, cotton pickers and other applications only with different mounts, governors, belhousings, etc, but still same size, gas or diesel. Harold H
