Thanks Kent, it is a flathead. I have printed out your advise and will tinker with it tomorow afternoon. I'll keep my fingers crossed I get it right. I had the firing order but somehow think I have messed it up attaching the wires to the distributer. Maybe I am off one. In anycase I should be able to get it figured out now. Thanks!
