OD for a 69' 429 ???

I am buying a 1969 Ford ThunderBird and have had problems with finding a tranny that will mount up to it that has an OD.

The engine is a 429 cu. in. V8

To buy an OD from like a Gearvendors place wouldnt be cost effecient and also there would be no space for it without doing some serious cutting.

If anyone knows if a ford truck trans with an OD. Say form a one ton 460 would mount up to the 429 i have in the bird. Any information would be appreciated
