Jon is probably right, but before you tear it all apart, try spraying some white lube under the steering wheel, have seen where the brush for the horn contact wears lopsided and gets hard, squeaks bad when you turn the wheel, a little spray of lube would quiet it, if thats all it is. If the truck has a lot of miles, then the bushing at the top of the column, below the turnsignal switch has gone bad, not too tough a job. John in Nebraska
