Lookin' at a '91 Dodge 3/4 ton
360 V8. 98,000 miles with some
horse-trailering and heavy round
hay bales to market hauling. Owner
says when you first put in in gear
you have to wait momentarily for the
trans to come to life. Is this an
idiosyncrasy with these power-trains
or should I plan a trip to the trans
rebuilt shop soon? Otherwise, the truck
is in good shape. I plan to occassionlly
move my 8,500 lb dozer and Farmalls.
Anyone out there have ad Dodge automatic
that acts likewise? Thanks in advance.
