'34/'35 International steering box rebuildPosted by Stan Weber on March 28, 2005 at 08:03:23 from (139.55.153.3): Hi- I'm rebuilding a steering box from (I believe) a '34 or '34 International 1-ton, to use in an International-bodied hot rod project. Does anyone have - or can anyone direct me to - an assembly drawing (exploded view, etc.) that I could use as a guide for reassembly? I'm especially interested in clearances, tolerances, etc. Also, I'd like to replace the old-style ball bearing assemblies with modern bearings. Does anyone have experience doing this - or info about the best way to do it (what bearings to use, etc.). I will be happy to provide photos of my disassembled unit if that will help. Thanks in advance for any help.
