Since i have had grease under my finger nails since i was a pup i like to see the inside of and engine first and since i have worked on the fords and i know for a fact that a V8 does not have the lug that and inline has so i had to see what a cummins was made of so i ask a buddy that works for cummins and he told me to come up and see for myself , so i did and liked what i saw so i bought a Dodge the only thing that i do not like about mine is (1 ) no lockout hubs (2) the 4.10 gear in the rears the 3.54 or 55 whatever is better suited with the lower RPM of the cummins and since a cummins make all of it power at a lower RPM it will last longer the a high RPM engine and has fewer moving parts , Exclent cold weather cold start. Now there are a couple thing that are and inconvence like the oil filter location and the fuel filter location , but ya can live with it. But everyone has there owen choise.
