Forgot to add that some of these old chevy trucks were originally title numbered to the engine serial number. What is needed to identify the truck is the "series" letters off the body plate. I can't remember where these plates are for sure, but it is either on the engine side of the firewall or on the drivers side inside the cab on the kick panel to the left of the clutch pedal. The engine serial number means nothing, as a lot of these trucks have had the engines swapped in the last 60 years!
