Big thing is there is no big truck flywheel that will balance a 400 SB. Racing outfits like speedway motors used to sell balance plates that fit between the crankshaft and nuetral balance flywheel to balance a 400 SB or 454 BB. You might also have a problem finding a 400 vibration damper that will work to drive truck front accessory drives.
The others are right,a BB 366 or 427 would be a better choice.
