Have low power problems. It's only had a couple thousands miles the last several years total, but ran great prior to the "time off". Trying to get it back into "shape" (just got the truck from dad, bought new). Sounds good at idle with the exception of a lifter (hyd) "tick". It's gotten a complete tune up (all new) from the rotor to the plugs and all filters except for gas (that's coming today).

After it's warmed up, I'm right at the secondaries at 55, (Turbo 350 with 4.10's and 16.5 rubber). With it cold....it's even worse, "punch" it and there is a very definate hesitation and sluggish recovery. Am going to replace the choke coil spring.

Gave it an oil change with 2 cans of Sea Foam to see if the "stuck" lifter will clear up. Added 2 cans to the gas tank. Lifter appears to be on the exhaust side, no miss at idle, and "loading" it up doesn't produce any carb back fire. But with no miss, thoughts are that the valve is opening at least "some".

About 146,000 on it with factory bottom end yet. Cam and valve job done maybe 35,000 ago but about 10 yrs.

Any more ideas from here without getting major just yet?? About the only thing I can think of at this time is maybe resetting the lifters, but if one is stuck, won't that affect it later if it clears up???
