97 Dodge Ram 5.9L backfires when warm

My 97 Dodge Ram started backfiring through the exhaust a while back. Changed the plugs, wires, and distributor capand rotor. The truck runs fine until it warms up then it starts popping. Sound like popcorn. Any ideas?
