Jeremy, what part of Texas? big Texas cities have tuff inspections. The truck needs duel pipes from the engine exhaust manifolds to the back bumper. then with glass packs and no converters it should be loud, but then if not loud enough, remove the intake and block the center ports in the head, these are the ports that let exhaust cross over through the intake manifold for carb heat. You can get intake gaskets that come with thin metal plugs that snap into the gaskets. be sure to plug both sides if you do this.
