You would need a B-block bellhousing. A couple of year ago I replaced a tried 318 in a '67 D 400 (1 1/4 ton) with a 360. Set it up for dual fuel, gasoline and LP, I pull a 4500lb empty trailer with it. Do not ask about the trailer, when in dout build it stout it does not have to fly. I sometimes have a combind header on this trailer. Kent
