1964 Chevy Back-up lightsPosted by Scott on June 16, 2005 at 13:30:01 from (192.103.208.112): This is my first visit and post to the site. I'm beginning the restoration of a '64 Chevy Custom Cab that I have had for about 10 years. The truck is in really good original condition but I decided to buy a parts truck (because of the price!!!) to get the drivers side of the box. Mine had a saddle tank and a large hole that would not be worth the trouble of repairing. Now to my question.....Why do some '64's have back-up lights and others do not? Were they an option? My truck does not have them but the parts truck does. I'm just wondering if I should fill the hole or install the lights? What would you guys prefer if it were your truck? My plan is to stay close to original looking but there will be powertrain and comfort upgrades. Thanks,
