Hope the compressor doesen't lock upPosted by Jak on June 16, 2005 at 13:41:16 from (208.47.18.61):
We gave the ole 79 F100 a little shot of R12 today, just enough to put it on 35 psi on the low side and clear the bubbles in the sight glass. She would cool decent after sitting five or more years but not enough.I just hope the ole thing keeps cooling.Sitting idling at 90 degrees she pulled down to 51.2 degrees this morning.I bet she will get a lot colder going down the road.I will try her in a little while for the journey home.Compressor sounds good and thats about all I can say.
