I'd skip the 360, low on power, high on gas costs and they just seem to have a lot of problems. If you're looking rugged durability go with a 390 instead. I know they are very similar engines but the 390 has a much better reputation. The post below covers the 302 & 351 fairly well. Which 351 are you looking at?

Some people curse the 351M but I've had very good luck in the past with them.
