OT: '77 Cadillac Deville - restoration project?

Am helping with estate of an elderly family member. '77 Cadillac Deville, 80-85,000 miles, located in the Seattle area. Running and I believe it is driveable, but not sure of mechanical condition. I know that for some time until recently unable, she started and idled up to temp weekly, though rarely actually drove it. Was licensed until June '05. Appearance is poor. Some body panel damage including rust. Interior poor. I don't have time, nor live close enough to part out myself, but it looks like it could be a project car for restoration or at least as a parts car. It's just a couple of years short of being a vintage car by definition.

Any suggestions as to what to do with it and or what it might be worth? I realize the obvious answer might be e-bay, but I have no experience there, and am a bit skeptical due to increasing "horror stories" these days.

Thanks!
Chuck, WA
